Cherry Blossoms

"Saita, saita, sakura ga saita" ("blossomed, blossomed, the cherry blossoms have blossomed")

It's that time of year in Japan. The infamous cherry blossoms, called sakura, have finally bloomed. I took some pictures of them now because the blossoms fall very quickly. Because of that, the sakura have a lot of metaphorical significance, such as the transience of life. The blossoms are bitter-sweet, because they're so beautiful, yet so short-lived.
